2010 Student Conference on Civil Liberties
The Vera Project

The conference is an exciting daylong event that brings together high school students from around the region to learn about their rights and share ideas about civil liberties. It combines group presentations by experts with small group discussions and workshops.

Topics include Student Rights with Technology, Censorship, and Indefinite Detention.

Each school may bring up to 40 students. (We set this limit to ensure a diverse mix of participants from many schools). We ask that you send at least one adult chaperone per each 20 students from your school.

Free registration includes lunch and parking for cars and buses.

Questions? E-mail rparikh@aclu-wa.org or call (206) 624-2184 ext. 248.
